I'm a handbag fanatic. It is my weakness. I've been dying to buy a new bag. And I want a Xoxo bag. But I have second thoughts of buying one because it's out of my budget.

I've mentioned this to my friend in passing when she asked me what I want because she's going to U.S. But I've never mentioned it again before she left. To my surprise she just gave me an offline message telling me that she already bought a xoxo bag for me. Wow! I guess, the bag is meant for me. So I have to take it.

I'm saving now. Hopefully when she comes back, I have the money to pay for the bag. Actually, I'm excited about it. =)

We just have to trust in the Lord that everything will fall into place according to His grand plan. I surrender my worries and fears to Him. Thy will be done.

My country, Philippines, is currently in a state of calamity due to typhoon Ondoy. It happened so fast and brought so much pain to the victims. I am calling everyone to pray for my countrymen who are affected to this calamity that they will surpass this trial. Let's pray together that everything will be okay once again.

I have a new haircut! I usually cut my hair when I'm depressed. Cutting my hair relieves my stress and depression. Going to a salon relaxes me. It gives me new strength.

I like my new haircut. Many commented that it is beautiful and it looks good on me. I feel good too. I feel light. It is the cut that I really wanted.

Panic attack!

You know the feeling that after you hope on someone or something in your life and then it will dawn into you that it would never happen anymore? And you don't have anything left for you? It happened to me. And I panic! I have to do something and move fast. It is really a strange feeling. I have to get over this fast. It's killing me. It frustrates me. It depresses me. I felt so sad and alone.

I'm so tired. Sometimes, life doesn't happen the way we plan. I'll just surrender everything to God. He is in control. He has a good plan for me. I just let go and let God. Only God knows what will happen to me in the future. I'm scared but i just don't have to think about it too much.

On a second thought... I am a lucky!

I have written that some girls are lucky and I'm not one of them but on a second thought...
I am lucky because I have a wonderful and supportive family. They are always there for me especially in times of needs. In my ups and downs, they are there every step of the way.Even if I hurt them, they never stop loving me. I am where I am now because of them.I love them so much!

I have good and caring friends. They would be there to cheer me up. To listen to my sentiments in life. I can talk to them anything and everything. We also laugh, cry and dream together. They love me and I love them too.

Some girls are lucky!

My cousin is going to Hongkong. She will meet up with his boyfriend there. All expense paid by her boyfriend. Wow! It's so great. Lucky girl! I'm happy for her. I hope that she will have a great time. It is her first time to go there. Happy trip Cuz!

I have a girl friend who always travel abroad for a vacation. She went last summer to Europe with her family. Now, she is in the United States of America and then she will be touring Japan. Lucky girl again! She is a good friend. She even gave me last time a Nine West bag from her tour.

My best friend just recently got engaged with his boyfriend. What a beautiful engagement ring she showed me. Ahhh! Lucky girl! I wish her all the best. She deserves to be happy. She's the very best girl friend I ever had. We had a pact that we will be Godmother's to our first child. He he Isn't it great?!

Some girls are lucky and I'm not one of them. (sigh) I hope that someday soon, I'll be included in the list of lucky girls...

In Control..

I can't believe that I was able to have the courage to blurt out what I really felt. And it felt good. I am a shy person and I always think before I speak. I'm scared of hurting the one i love. But this time, I was in control of the whole situation. He cannot treat me like a shit anymore. I deserve respect more than anything else. If he was offended from what I have said then I don't care anymore. He could take me or leave me.

But I think I've made the right move. He was very nice to me after that. We ended up having a good conversation. Sometimes, we girls need to be assertive over guys. We should not let them hurt us just like that. We need to be in command sometimes. We don't have to say yes all the time. We need to voice out our true feelings. It would surely boost our self-esteem and bring back our own worth.

So many questions...

I don't know why he asks me so many questions. This is not the first time he asked me hypothetical questions. I don't know what to think about it anymore. Is he making a survey? Did he asks so many girls about it? The weird thing about it, the question relates to his situation. How would I answer it? Why would I answer a question that might backfire to me? What is he thinking? But whatever it is, I answered his question base on my true state of mind and what I really think about it.

He was asking me will I accept the man I love who have kids and help him guide them? He is separated by the way. Why would he asked me? I'm not his girlfriend, anyway. Still, as a friend, I answered. So here's my answer. I told him that whoever the man I love loves I will surely love too. If he has kids then it is included in the package. As long as he has a good character and would treat me well and right all the time. The important thing to me is the attitude and character of a man. That is what really matters. I forgot to say that he should also really love me. He should be true and faithful to me too. He could then be worth it even if he has an excess baggage.

I super love reading magazines. When I was in college, I used to go to our library not to study but to read magazines. he he I love Cosmopolitan, People Asia, Women and many more of its kind.I love updating myself to the new fashion and events. I love looking at beautiful outfits and make-up. To learn about beauty products too. I am also a big fan of celebrities. I love to gossip about their love lives. lol And about their beauty secrets too. I don't really into buying magazines. I only borrow. What I have is a collection of Archie comics. I'm a big fan of Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead. ha ha The comic book is really funny. But some of my collections was borrowed by some friends and they don't know how to return it to me. And me, I am shy of getting it back. And I've lost my contact with them. So bye bye to my Archie comics(sigh) I have only a few now left. But, it's okay.

I also have a friend who used to bring magazines to my office. It was so sweet of him. He knows very well that I'm fond of reading magz. But he has a new work now and far from me. So my supply ended. I recently borrowed an FHM magazine from a friend. It is an adult magazine. But it is not really vulgar. I think it is done with art and fashion. The opposite of what I have been hearing about it before. It is done in good taste. My friend is actually collecting it. You can also learn from it.

To buy or not to buy??

I'm so confused!!! Help! I have a friend who is going to the U.S. Today is her flight. She'll be back in a few weeks. I am thinking if I will ask her to buy me a xoxo bag or not? I don't know. There's a part of me that's says that I should go and ask her but the other side says that I should not. I really want a new bag. I think that it would be a great chance for me to have one since my friend will be going abroad and there are a lot of beautiful bags out there to choose from. Oh No! I hate it. I'm a restless soul now. sigh!

But you see I am saving now for my trip to Disneyland hopefully next year. My head is aching. My heart is breaking too. I love bags! I have to control myself and let go of this chance. Anyways, there would still be a lot of chances that would come my way. I have to make a pass on this.

This saddened me but I have to make some priorities in order to reach my goal. I just have to forget all about this. I will not buy...

I would like to have a vacation next summer. I want to go to Hongkong and visit Disneyland. It's one of my long time dreams. I always love watching Disney shows.I love mickey and his friends. I have a mickey stuff toy too. he he I am all grown up now but there's still a child in me that loves to play. That's my goal that's why I'm working hard these days and determined to save. I am hoping and trying my best to raise the money i needed for my vacation. I don't know. I will try my very best. If it is for me, then it will surely happen. I am also applying for virtual jobs. I don't have any luck at this time but i am not losing hope. I still have time. Virtual employers out there might contact me soon. I hope that they could give me a chance to work for them.

There are a lot of temptations in the malls. I was even tempted to buy a new pair of earrings. I am glad that i was able to stop myself into buying one. That was really close. That is what you call self control. I need to sacrifice in order to reach my goal. If i have to starve myself then i will do it. I just have to avoid going to the malls and eating out. I'm so excited about it. So to my Disney friends, be ready here I come..

Changed of mind, changed of heart...

I'm the most stupid girl on earth, I think! I keep on hoping and expecting on someone to commit himself to me. I was doing this for a long time already. This has to stop. I think now is the right time. I have a changed of mind and a changed of heart. I don't want him anymore. I am tired of him. I don't have interest on him. He will remain my friend. But it will be just that. I've given him the chance to be with me but I guess he is not ready. No, he is just not that into me. Just like in the movie. No more excuses, no more alibis for me.

At least, I would not have a heartache. I will be free. Nobody imprisoned me anyway. I did that to myself. I allow myself to be hooked up on someone who is not hooked up on me. It is just a one-way feeling. I believe that there's always somebody out there who would love me truly. But for now, I have to enjoy what I have. I have my family and friends who constantly love me. That's enough for now. When the right man comes, he will surely comes.

I've been with this feeling on and off. I am in a roller coaster ride and so goes with my feelings. If will not let go now, I will hurt myself more. I am letting him go. Anyways, lots of blessings are coming my way. Life is good to me. I am happy about it. Love will surely come in very soon. Just thinking positive. =)

Recharging..

I had a good sleep. I just woke up. I feel like I really needed it. I am recharge now. I always see my skin glowing every time I wake up from a good sleep. I feel beautiful too. It's been a busy week for me. I go home late. I sleep late. And I have to wake up early everyday because I have work. It's kinda exhausting. It's my routine. I have no complaints. I am grateful that I have a job.

I believe that having enough rest is a big help to my body system. My brain is functioning well after a good rest. I am full of life and energy. I can do my task to the best of my abilities. I am more alive and happy. I can entertain people with a smile on my face. And it's good so I can build a good relationship with them.

My Review:

The story is very different and unique. I kept on wondering till the end if what happened to her was for real or just a dream. Will her memory ever comes back? I can't stop reading just to know it. While reading the novel, I felt like I was also Lexi . I don't know who was really telling the truth. What really happened? I can't also help but wonder.

Forgetting your memory is a very difficult thing to experience. It will surely drive you crazy. Everybody will fill you with different stories. You wouldn't know who really cares for you and who are just taking advantage of your situation. Lexi learned the truth from her own flesh and blood. They gave her a lot of information of what really happened to her before the accident and about her past life. I've realized that family still will always be the one who will give you full support in spite of your differences. You will also know who you're true friends. They will be there for you in this time of crisis in your life. You would also know the real meaning of love. When Lexi asked her lover what he loves about her. He answered: "I don't know. The essence of you. I can't turn it into a list." Wow, that's so sweet and romantic! I could just melt. Love is all around!

Even though in the end Lexi didn't really remember her past, what happened to her set her free. She has regained her true self and found her real happiness. Nice one!

Fly fly fly...

My best friend invited me to go to Manila. He will gonna pay for my airfare. And he will gonna tour me around. Wow! How's that? I had gone to Manila only once which was 10 years ago. That was so long ago. ha ha I'm thinking about it. I really want to have a vacation but I don't have enough money to go places. For a change, I want to breathe some new fresh air. Besides, Manila has a lot of beautiful malls too compared here in Davao. Mall of Asia is one which is the third largest mall here in Asia. Many of my friends have gone there and they said that it is really big and beautiful. I want also to visit the Ocean Park. I've seen pictures of the place. It was really wonderful and beautiful. And lots of fishes too. he he I hardly slept the other night when I first heard his invitation. ha ha

I'm thinking how I would ask permission from my Mom. Surely, she would not permit me to go there with a guy friend. But I'm old enough. I know whats gonna be bad and good for me. (sigh!) What will I tell her? That's my problem now. My girl friend told me to go and enjoy. It would be my chance to have a vacation. And I really want to. I'm excited! ha ha

Anyways, my best friend and I have to talk about it when he comes back here. If he is really serious about paying for my airfare back and forth then that's the sign that I will surely go. ha ha

Miss Universe 2009

I've watched the recent 2009 Miss Universe pageant hoping that Miss Philippines would win. Of course I'm supporting the representative of my country. She is beautiful but I think that all the contestants are beautiful. Everybody has a chance to win.

The final show was brief unlike the pageants before but it was a good show. I personally like the song in the pageant entitled "I got a Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas. It made the show more memorable. It was really a big night especially for the Miss Universe 2009 big winner Miss Venezuela. She deserves the crown. I love her red gown. Her beauty really glowed and shine throughout the pageant.

Better luck next time for our country. Maybe we will win next time. That night is not our night. But Miss Philippines still made our country proud. She gave her all. Miss Universe pageant is really a big event that every people in the whole world looks forward to watch. Even if I'm a girl, I still love seeing beautiful women all over the world. Till next time...
