In Control..

I can't believe that I was able to have the courage to blurt out what I really felt. And it felt good. I am a shy person and I always think before I speak. I'm scared of hurting the one i love. But this time, I was in control of the whole situation. He cannot treat me like a shit anymore. I deserve respect more than anything else. If he was offended from what I have said then I don't care anymore. He could take me or leave me.

But I think I've made the right move. He was very nice to me after that. We ended up having a good conversation. Sometimes, we girls need to be assertive over guys. We should not let them hurt us just like that. We need to be in command sometimes. We don't have to say yes all the time. We need to voice out our true feelings. It would surely boost our self-esteem and bring back our own worth.
